If we were really like computers, ours thoughts would be ‘on’ or ‘off’, the answers to questions would be ‘yes’ or ‘no’, emotions would not be present and an anti-virus program would be installed. Yet as human beings, we are living a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual experience that includes emotions and thoughts. As you might already know, there can be times where we fixate on a thought or feeling in such a way that it seems as if it takes over our whole existence, just like a virus would infect an entire hard drive.
